Help with signing in, your calendar, and your account.
Harmonize is made by one person, so replies are usually sent within a few days. There is no guaranteed response time, but every message is read.
Signing in
Harmonize offers two ways to sign in, chosen with the control at the top of the sign-in screen.
Email me a link — enter your email address and we send you a one-time sign-in link. Open the link on the same iPhone and Harmonize signs you in. This is also how your account is created the first time.
Use a password — enter your email address and password. This signs in an account that already has a password set; it does not create a new account.
The sign-in email hasn’t arrived
Give it a minute, then check your spam or junk folder and any filtered inbox such as Promotions or Updates. Make sure the address you typed is one you can actually receive mail on. To try a different address, tap Use a different email.
“You’ve requested a link recently”
Harmonize limits how often a new link can be sent to the same address. Wait for the countdown shown on screen, then request another one.
The link opens a browser instead of the app
Open the link on the same iPhone that has Harmonize installed, and tap it directly in the email rather than copying and pasting it.
The link says it expired or was already used
Sign-in links are single-use and time-limited. Request a new one from the sign-in screen.
Password sign-in says the details are wrong
Check for a stray space or an autocapitalised first letter. Password sign-in works only for an account that already has a password — if you have only ever used sign-in links, use Email me a link instead.
I need a password reset
Version 1.0.0 has no in-app password reset. Sign in with Email me a link instead, which works for any account. If you cannot get in at all, email harmonizeplanner@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will help.
The app seems stuck or unresponsive
Force-close and relaunch it: swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause (or double-press the Home button), swipe the Harmonize card away, then open the app again. Your calendar is stored on the device, so closing the app this way does not lose anything you have saved. If the problem repeats, restart your iPhone, and check for an app update in the App Store.
Your calendar
Harmonize keeps its own calendar on your device. It does not connect to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Canvas or ICS feeds in this version, and nothing you enter is synced to another calendar app.
New accounts start with a week of sample events so the app is not empty. They are ordinary events — edit or delete them however you like.
My events are missing on another device
Calendar content is stored on the device where you created it. Version 1.0.0 does not sync between devices, so events created on one iPhone do not appear on another, even with the same account.
An event is on the wrong day or at the wrong time
Harmonize follows your iPhone’s date, time and time-zone settings. Check Settings → General → Date & Time on your iPhone, then confirm the start time and time zone on the event itself.
A repeating event didn’t change the way I expected
When you edit or delete an event that repeats, Harmonize asks whether the change applies to this occurrence, this and all future occurrences, or the whole series. Pick the scope that matches what you intended.
Event colours aren’t what I want
Settings → Calendar colours sets the default colour for each category — School, Work, Appointment, Personal and Other. An individual event’s own colour overrides the category default.
What happens if I delete the app
Because calendar content is stored on your device, deleting Harmonize removes it. It cannot be recovered from our servers, because it was never there.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete Account. Read the summary, tap Delete Account, then type the confirmation word shown on screen.
This permanently removes your account and the records linked to it on our servers, and erases the app’s local data for that account from your device. It cannot be undone. If something goes wrong, Harmonize tells you and leaves your device data in place so you can try again.
For what deletion removes and what may remain, see the Privacy Policy.
Privacy
Harmonize version 1.0.0 has no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no AI processing of your calendar. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Emailing support
Write to harmonizeplanner@gmail.com. To get a useful answer on the first reply, please include:
- the app version — shown at the bottom of Settings, currently 1.0.0;
- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- the email address you sign in with;
- what you were trying to do, and what happened instead;
- the exact wording of any error message;
- roughly when it happened, and whether it happens every time.
Never email your password or a sign-in link. We will never ask for your password, a sign-in link, or a verification code, and you should not send one to anybody who does. If you have already sent a sign-in link to someone, request a new one from the app — links are single-use and expire.
